PerSense Mobile Light, by Senception Lda
This app is aimed to be used by researchers that want to analyse wireless footprints. This app has been developed by Senception in the context of industrial research, in the European H2020 UMOBILE project. This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 645124

The security of your personal information is extremely important. ALL information is kept only on internal storage of the device only. The user can access/delete all data on the device. NO personal data is captured, nor stored. What we use locally is:

 

- MAC identifier of the device, which is previously registered by you on the set of devices that access T-Kiddo.

- Geolocation, used only locally on the device.

- a computational profile of your visits to wireless hotspots, used only locally on the device, and which takes into consideration: time and duration of visits; frequency of visits to hotspots.

 

For research purposes, the data can be sent to a server. The data sent to a server considers an obfuscated MAC as well as obfuscated identifiers such as SSIDs.
